Hannah Perko-Engel is a Bay Area based Actress and Producer who received her B.F.A from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where she trained with the Atlantic Acting School and Stonestreet Studios.

Acting credits include the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why, understudying the role of Gail in the world premiere of Sarah Ruhl’s Becky Nurse of Salem at the Berkeley Repertory Theatre, web series, short films, play readings and commercial work for Apple and WhatsApp, among others.

As a producer, she recently partnered with director Yasmine Diba and actress Medalion Rahimi (NCIS) to produce the short film Wild Braid, which was an official selection at the Cannes Indie Shorts Awards, Berlin International Film Festival, Montreal Independent Film Festival, Beirut Women Film Festival, Los Angeles Shorts international Film Festival and Farhang Film Festival. Additional producing work can be found here.

In her downtime, you can find her deep in a heart-to-heart with friends, racing to ballet class with a coffee in hand, sketching pictures of flowers and dancers, and day dreaming about owning a Corgi (one day!)

A native of Oakland, CA, Hannah has seen firsthand the positive impact that creative expression, arts education, and community can have. In all of her work, she hopes to use storytelling as a tool to encourage empathy and connection.
